Colin and Ryan Pyle are brothers from Toronto, Canada. But that's about all they have in common. Ryan has spent the last decade in China building his career as one of the world's emerging documentary photographers. Colin stayed closer to home, in Toronto, and built up his own successful currency trading company, which he recently resigned from. Together they are looking to hit the road, for the first time since they were kids, and share their love of riding motorcycles together. And the task they have set for themselves: to circumnavigate China. That's right, Ryan and Colin will complete a 20,000 km motorcycle journey around China, taking them through some of the country's most populous and remote regions, while filming their journey. The goal of the journey is to produce a documentary series for one of the major adventure travel networks. The journey will be an important one, and will showcase much of China's change and development from factory to farm. With Ryan's university degree in Chinese History, as well as his extensive magazine work in China for the last decade, he¡¯ll act as an excellent guide for viewers as the two brothers experience China over their 20,000 km journey. The purpose of the trip is to put China on display. To explore the visual and cultural wonders that is China. With a massive population, crowded cities, abundant minorities and its stunning natural landscape; China offers a traveler an experience like no other. While our project has no political ambitions it will be our goal to be OBJECTIVE in what we see and feel during our ride. And we're hoping you'll come along for the ride, on one of the world's greatest adventures.
